Thanks to everyone who came out and supported Farmington and us. It was a long day at the track, but it was a great day to be at Farmington. Between the accident in the 4.90 heads up class and the other oil downs it would make for a long day at any track. It is good to hear everyone is ok and with no major injuries. Our part of the race had to be called due to an oil down just before curfew and the money was divided between the 7 remaining drivers. Rick Nicolau, Adam Hull, Ronnie Flynt, Brian Felts, Donn Brandt, Steve McCreary, and Will Hull.
 
We look forward the the Motor Mile race on May 19th.

*Attention Racers* 
The members voted on a few things at Farmington this past week. From here out all members will be dropping 2 of your worst races from the points, this can include an unatended race. Also the perfect attendence points has been changed from 5 to 10 points.

H & H Auto Sales of Mt. Airy, NC and Galax, Va. will be coming on board with a rather unusual but exciting sponsorship. 
 
 
.499 Challenge Rules 
 
  • Cars competing for the .499 Challenge must be Stick Shift Series points contender AND display the H&H Auto .499 Challenge sticker. 
  • $499 will be awarded to the first person to have a .499 LOSING reaction time during eliminations of each race. Once awarded it will reset to $499 at the next race. 
  • If no one has a .499 light during eliminations $49 will be added to the $499 for each race that no one wins the Challenge. However, if a race is cancelled before 1st round of eliminations $49 will not be added. 
  • If at the last race if no one wins the Challenge all funds accumulated will be awarded as a Hard Luck award at the banquet. 
  • The Hard Luck award will be for the racer who has attended the most races with the least amount of round wins. 
  • If there are any problems or unaddressed situations, Billy Hicks, owner of H&H Auto Sales will have the final ruling.
